Billing Process (Walk-In Customer)

A step-by-step guide to efficiently handle transactions for walk-in clients.

In this tutorial, you'll discover how to bill walk-in customers using the Zylu salon management app. Whether it’s a first-time visitor or a regular client, we’ll walk you through the entire billing process, from selecting services to processing payments. You’ll learn how to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience for your customers while keeping your records organized. By the end of this guide, you'll be well-equipped to handle walk-in transactions with confidence and ease!



Adding a New Customer

  • If the customer is already in the system, you can search for them directly.
  • For new customers, click on Add New Customer and enter their phone number, name, and lead source (e.g., walk-in).
  • Optionally, ask for their birthday to apply discounts and click Add Customer.


Adding Services and Products

  • Click + Service to add the services purchased (e.g., Botox, Hydra Facial).
  • For products, click + Product, search for the product (e.g., Inforcer Hair Shampoo), and select it.


Changing Pricing

  • To change the price, click on the price box and adjust the value as needed.


Applying Discounts

  • Apply discounts on a service or product by clicking on the discount box and entering either a money or percentage value.


Adding Tips

  • Add employee tips in the Add Tip section by selecting the employee and entering the tip amount or percentage.


Adding Payment Methods

  • Use the Checkout option to select the payment method. You can apply multiple payment options like cash, credit card, or online payment.



Finalizing the Sale

  • Once all details are added, click Complete to finalize the transaction. The invoice is generated, and you can send it to the customer via WhatsApp.


Notes:
  • Ensure accurate entry of customer information to avoid billing errors.

  • Double-check discounts and payment modes selected to prevent discrepancies.

  • Record customer feedback accurately for future reference and improvement.

  • Familiarize yourself with the system to expedite the billing process.

  • Keep communication clear with customers to gather necessary information efficiently.

  • Regularly update customer records for personalized service and promotional purposes.
