Step-by-step guide to generating and configuring a coupon code for your customers

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to create a unique coupon code for your salon promotions. We’ll walk you through the process of setting up a coupon, from generating a custom code to applying service categories, setting discounts, and adding expiry dates. Perfect for boosting customer engagement during special promotions!


Key Steps:

  1. Open the app and navigate to the main menu.

  2. Select "Manage" and then go to the Retention Tools section.

  3. Click on "Coupons" and select "Add New" at the bottom right.

  4. Enter a prefix representing the offer (less than 4 characters) and a suffix for the time frame or discount value (less than 4 characters).

  5. Click on the "Generate" button to create a unique coupon code.

  6. Choose the specific services or categories the coupon is valid for.

  7. Set the discount value as a percentage or flat amount.

  8. Add an expiry date by selecting from the calendar.

  9. Optionally, add a description for internal reference or to inform clients about the offer terms.

  10. Toggle the enable button to activate the coupon.

  11. Review all details and click "Save" to create the coupon.

Notes:

  • Ensure the prefix and suffix are within 4 characters each.

  • Double-check the services or categories selected for the coupon.

  • Verify the discount value and expiry date before saving.

Tips for Efficiency:

  • Use clear and concise prefixes and suffixes for easy identification.

  • Regularly review and update the coupons to keep promotions fresh.

  • Keep track of the expiry dates to avoid offering invalid coupons to customers.
