WhatsApp Signup Preparation

This article outlines the necessary preparations for customers before they begin the WhatsApp onboarding process.

Before you begin, ensure you have the following ready:

  • Phone Number for WhatsApp API
    This number should not have an existing WhatsApp account. It will be used for the WhatsApp Business API integration.


  • Credentials for Facebook Account
    Ensure you have the login information for your Facebook account, as it will be required during the signup process.


  • Credit/Debit Card to Set Up Payment Method
    A valid credit or debit card will be needed to set up your payment method for the WhatsApp Business API.


  • Tax Number (GST for India)
    If you're operating in India, please have your GST number ready for verification during the signup process.


  • Business Verification Document
    This document must show the legal name of your business and your business's official postal address or phone number. It’s crucial for the verification step.
