Q: What if I accidentally create a duplicate customer?
A: Zylu does not allow creating duplicate customers.
If a customer already exists in Zylu's master database, you will see a "Customer Found" message and can directly select them. This helps prevent duplication.
Q: Can I skip adding a customer and bill directly?
A: No. Billing is only allowed after a customer is added or selected. Zylu requires a valid customer profile to continue.
Q: Can I edit customer details later?
A: Yes. Go to Customers, open the customer detail screen, click the Edit button, make changes, and click Update Customer to save.
Q: Will the customer's wallet, cashback, and packages carry over if I select them from the master database?
A: No. When a customer visits your store, only their data related to your store will be visible. Balances and packages from other stores will not carry over.
A: Not in the billing screen. But you can use filters inside the
Customers Module section for advanced searches based on tags, or other filters.
Q: Can I add notes about the customer during billing?
A: Yes. You can add notes while creating the bill. These notes will be saved with the customer record and can be viewed later.
Q: What if the same customer visits with different phone numbers?
A: The system will treat them as two different customers. Bills will be created under the two separate numbers.
