Adding a WhatsApp Template

Learn how to Create a WhatsApp Template for a Special Holiday Discount Promotion


Steps: 

  1. Ensure you have a WhatsApp add-on subscription.

  2. Open the Zylu app and log in.

  3. Go to the main menu and select Marketing.

  4. Click on Manage and then choose WhatsApp template.

  5. Click the plus icon to add a new template.

  6. Fill in the template name (e.g., holiday discount) and select a template category (e.g., Promotion General).

  7. Choose a language for the template (e.g., English).

  8. Use text, an image, a video, or a document for the header.

  9. Upload an image showcasing the special offer for the promotion.

  10. Write the main message in the body section, adding variables for personalization.

  11. Understand and use internal and external variables effectively.

    • Internal variables automatically change (e.g., customer_name).

    • External variables act as placeholders that can be customized (e.g., discount_value).

  12. Check the preview to review the template.

  13. Hit the Submit button to send the template for approval.

  14. Monitor the approval status by refreshing the page.

Notes:

  • Approval of the template may take anywhere from a minute to 24 hours.

  • Ensure all text and variables are accurate before submitting for approval.

  • Prepare the message and variables in advance to streamline the template creation process.

  • Use clear and engaging visuals for the header to attract attention.

  • Double-check the template for any errors before submission to avoid delays in approval.
