How to Create and Assign a Commission Profile

Commission Profiles help you define how staff members earn commissions on services, products, packages, memberships, and wallets.

Creating a Commission Profile

  1. Go to Manage > Team Management > Commission Profile

  2. Click on the + icon to add a new profile.

  3. Enter the Profile Name and an optional Description to identify this commission setup.

  4. You can configure commission rules for each of the following sections:

    • Services

    • Categories

    • Products

    • Packages

    • Memberships

    • Wallets

  5. For each section, you can set:

    • A commission value in percentage or fixed amount

    • A maximum commission limit

    • Custom rules if needed

  6. Once done, click Save to create the profile.

Assigning a Commission Profile to Staff

You can assign a commission profile when creating a new employee or editing an existing one.

To assign during employee creation:

  1. Go to Manage > Team Management > Staff Management

  2. Click Add Staff

  3. Fill in the staff details and select the required Commission Profile

  4. Click Save

To assign for an existing employee:

  1. Go to Manage > Team Management > Staff Management

  2. Click Edit on the desired staff member

  3. Choose the appropriate Commission Profile in the form

  4. Click Save

Commission Profile Configurations

You can also manage how commissions are calculated using the Configurations tab.

Go to Manage > Team Management > Commission Profile > Configurations

Here are the available options:

  1. Exclude Discount
    Commissions will be calculated after removing any discount from the sale price.

  2. Exclude Tax
    Taxes will be excluded from the sale price before calculating commissions.

  3. Split Commission Equally
    If multiple staff members perform a service, the commission will be split equally unless otherwise specified during billing.

  4. Enable Commission on Package Services
    This allows staff to earn commissions when package services are used.

  5. Commission on Package Service Price
    By default, commissions are calculated based on the original service price. Enabling this option changes it to the discounted package price.

  6. Exclude Wallet Redemption
    Wallet redemptions will be excluded from the commission calculation.

Make sure to click Save after updating the configurations.

Q. How is commission calculated when both discount and tax are applied?

A. If both "Exclude Discount" and "Exclude Tax" are selected, the commission is calculated on the final price after removing both the discount and the tax amount.

Q. What happens if multiple staff members are assigned to a single service?

A. If "Split Commission Equally" is enabled, the commission is evenly divided between the assigned staff unless manually changed during billing.

Q. Can I override the commission rules during billing?

A. Yes, if required, the commission values can be manually edited at the time of billing.

Q. Will staff earn commission on services used from a package?

A. Only if "Enable Commission on Package Services" is turned on.

Q. What is the difference between ‘Package Service Price’ and ‘Original Price’?

A. Original price is the default service price. Package service price is the discounted value offered under a package. You can choose which one to base commissions on.

Q. Does the wallet redemption affect commission?

A. Yes, if "Exclude Wallet Redemption" is selected, the commission is calculated excluding any amount paid via wallet.

Q. Where can I see the commission earned by an employee?

A. All commissions earned based on the active commission profile and its configurations will be reflected in the Employee Commission Report in the Reports section.
