How to Create Customer Tags


Introduction:
Tags help you categorize customers in a way that makes it easier to target them for specific sales or marketing efforts. In this module, you will learn how to create and assign tags to customers to improve upselling strategies.


Accessing Customer Info

  • From the Main Menu, go to Customers and select any customer you want to add a tag to.
  • In the customer info section, locate Tags.


Creating a Tag

  • If the tag you need doesn’t exist, click the search box.
  • You’ll see the option to create a new tag. Select the color for the tag and click Create Tag.
  • The tag will now be available to assign to the customer.


Assigning the Tag

  • After creating the tag, you can assign it to the customer by selecting it from the tag list.
  • This helps you segment customers and target them with personalized upselling offers based on their needs.
